Tania Renelli is a former big city executive who left the corporate world and became a successful Northern entrepreneur. Originally born in Ottawa Valley, this northern import has proudly called Sudbury home for the last decade. Tania is one of the many inspiring Northern speakers joining us in Sudbury at In Full Bloom on Friday September 16.
Tania began to harness her entrepreneurial spirit a year after moving to Sudbury. The concept of Salute Coffee Company was born in 2013 and came to fruition in 2014. Over the past 7 years Salute has opened 3 locations in the city of Sudbury and continues to thrive.

Tania was born in a small town in the Ottawa Valley where she grew up until she went to Georgian College in Barrie. Shortly after obtaining her diploma, she moved to Toronto and began her career in the publishing industry where she was eventually promoted to an executive role within one of the largest independent publishing companies in Canada responsible for their largest national client. Growing up, Tania always had family ties to Sudbury which resulted in many visits and her falling in love with lake Penage. Once she and her husband had their first child, they decided to move “home” permanently to be closer to family and to raise their children in the beautiful north.
It was about a year after moving to Sudbury that Tania began to harness her entrepreneurial spirit. The combination of weekly commuting to Toronto, her young family at home, and the entrepreneurial bug finally led to her leave her career in publishing and begin a brand-new adventure.
